The Professional and Advanced Professional Programs are now an ICF Level 2 Program (formerly ACTP)
Earlier this year the ICF announced that their 20 plus year ACSTH and ACTP accreditations would be retired and replaced with Level 1 and Level 2 equivalents. Schools needed to reapply for the new status by presenting their entire curriculum and student administration processes to the ICF for review. It’s a rigorous and quality driven process.
We are excited to announce that our application was approved, with a direct benefit to students.
- Your certificate will indicate you have graduated from a leading Coach Education provider, with the most relevant and current certification possible.
- Your certificate will show the Level 2 ICF logo.
- Those interested in pursuing an ICF credential can apply directly via the new Level 2 track .
Changes to the Curriculum
There have and will be some changes to the curriculum to accommodate the new accreditation requirements. Most have already taken effect (eg. Mentor Coaching now 2 hours). The only further change is that as of 2023, Observed Coaching will only be 5 weeks and students must coach at least once in a Coach Development lab.
More on this in 2023.
